All reasonable points. I am in a similar boat. The biggest miss for me was overestimating the Texas Park. They basically paid what the husband and wife paid for the land and buildings. There was no goodwill as a result of the transaction, which I thought was great. Similar in size to GA park so I too thought they could get similar results at some point. Linda recognizes the problems, but location is one she cannot fix. Hope she gets a whole year of normalcy to see what she can do.
Thanks for your comments. Yes, for me, it was a "let‘s wait another quarter" stock for some time. Eventually, I thought to not wait any longer, given the current opportunity set.
Thanks for sharing. Taking a loss is painful, but as you mentioned, learning from your mistakes is important. Hopefully we can all learn with you.
Thanks for taking the time to write up a post mortem. I think there aren't enough post mortems being done by investors. Very instructive.
Many thanks for sharing.
Post-mortem articles are the most instructive to read.

This was a rough one for me too. The company did not progress in the way I had hoped and expected.
On to the next one!
This was a great read. Thank you so much.
